For Mighty Mites and Recreation, they go by school grade. For Development and Competitive, they go by birth year.
Birth year for each division differs year to year, but you can figure it out by taking the current year in the month of tryouts (May) and subtracting 7 years from it for U8, 8 years for U9, 9 for U10 and so on.
